Ontario Baling Days
On April 15 and 16, 2019, the Lutheran churches of Ontario are invited to gather in Wallenstein for We Care Baling Days. Ontario Baling Days is a highlight on the We Care calendar and we are pleased to extend an invitation to everyone in Ontario who would like to become involved!
Much of the shipment will support refugees, including children, elderly and young mothers, who are living in the M’bera refugee camp. Established in 2011 and located 60 km from the Mali border, the camp supports more than 50,000 refugees who have fled from violent conflict in Mali.
To donate
To include items in the shipment, please drop them off at Christian Aid Ministries between April 10 and April 16 at 12 PM to ensure that they can be included in the shipment.
To volunteer
We are looking for volunteers of all ages to help sort, fold, count, tape, weigh, label and load all the supplies into an international cargo container. Baling Days are a great opporutnity for fellowship, to learn more abou tthe work of CLWR and to make a significant contribution towards the alleviation of poverty and suffering. The container packing will take place from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM on April 15 and 16.
