This project will provide basic, life-saving support to South Sudanese refugees in Uganda and members of the communities that host them, with a focus on people with specific needs—including elderly, child-headed households, survivors of sexual and gender-based violence and people with disabilities.
The focus of the project is in the areas of water, sanitation and hygiene; shelter construction and the provision of essential items such as mattresses and jerry cans; employment training; and community support for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.
